From Hard Work to Lasting Impact: Jared McBrearty’s Journey

Jared McBrearty is a proud Connecticut native who has lived in central Connecticut most of his life. His work ethic started early—at just 11 years old—through odd jobs and summer farm work picking vegetables. By 16, he entered the construction industry, beginning with concrete work and steadily advancing to foreman and supervisor roles. In 2011, Jared launched his own concrete construction business, later expanding into interior renovations during slower winter months with a close friend who became a co-owner of A1 Home Improvement.

Over the past 15 years, Jared has shifted into home renovations and property investments, focusing on house flips. Since officially joining A1 Home Improvement in 2022, the company’s revenue has grown four to five times, alongside major expansion in roofing, siding, and windows. A mentor, avid reader, and community-focused leader, Jared balances business growth with family time, faith, and charitable work—building more than homes along the way.
