Building More Than Homes: The Journey of Jared McBrearty

Jared McBrearty is a lifelong Connecticut native who has spent most of his years in central Connecticut, shaping a career built on hard work, leadership, and purpose. His journey began early—at age 11—through odd jobs and summer work picking vegetables on a local farm. By 16, Jared entered the construction industry, starting with concrete work and steadily rising to foreman and supervisor roles with multiple companies.

In 2011, he launched his first concrete construction business. When winter slowed outdoor projects, he and a close friend began completing interior renovations, laying the groundwork for what would later become A1 Home Improvement. Over the past 15 years, Jared gradually shifted toward home renovations and property investments, particularly house flips. After officially joining A1 Home Improvement in 2022, the company saw remarkable growth, increasing revenue by four to five times and expanding its roofing, siding, and window divisions.

Jared plays an active role across marketing, sales, and improving installation processes. He’s passionate about mentoring others and supporting personal growth beyond the job. An avid reader and lifelong learner, he also helped launch A1 Solar, now a trusted solar contractor in Connecticut. Outside of work, Jared is a devoted father, community volunteer, and committed servant to those in need.
