  • Signal Desktop is now optimized for Apple’s M1 chip which is used in their newer computers. If you’re on one of those new-fangled devices, the app should be much snappier. If you’re not, give a warm welcome to the users that are. Huge thanks to @dennisameling for his hard work here!
  • This release should speed things up for users who saw a drop in performance with 5.27.0.
