Check your inbox and confirm your email address. 4. Complete your profile: add a photo, bio, website link, and 3-5 relevant hashtags (e.g., `#founder`, `#ai`, `#design`). That's it — you're ready to explore, post, and connect. Is Knowasiak free to use? **Yes, completely free.** Core features like posting, messaging, following, exploring, launching startups, and browsing the marketplace cost nothing. Access all your saved posts from [Bookmarks](https://www.knowasiak.com/bookmarks) in the sidebar. Bookmarks are private — only you can see what you've saved. How do messaging and DMs work? Open any user's profile and tap **Message** to start a direct conversation. Messaging is real-time and supports text, links, and emoji. Tips for getting a reply: * Be concise and include context about why you're reaching out. * Reference their work or a specific post you found interesting. * Link to your own profile or project sparingly. You can control who can message you in [Settings > Privacy](https://www.knowasiak.com/settings). What are Swifts (Stories)? Swifts are short-lived photo or video stories that disappear after 24 hours. They appear at the top of the feed. Use them for quick updates, behind-the-scenes looks, or timely announcements without cluttering your main post history. ## Startups How do I launch a startup on Knowasiak? 1. Go to the [Startups](https://www.knowasiak.com/startups) section. 2. Click **Submit a Startup**. 3. Fill in your startup heading, a detailed description (problem, solution, target user), category, and an optional link. 4. Upload a logo and up to 5 screenshots. 5. Publish — your startup is now live for the community to discover, upvote, and comment on. Top-voted startups get featured in the Explore > Startups feed and gain significant visibility. How does startup voting work? Community members can **upvote** or **downvote** any startup. The net vote score (upvotes minus downvotes) determines ranking in the startup listings. Startups with the most positive recent votes rise to the top. Unlike post likes, startup votes specifically measure community belief in the idea's potential. Can I edit my startup after publishing? Yes. Visit your startup page and click the **Edit** button (visible only to you as the author). You can update the description, screenshots, links, and category at any time. ## Marketplace How do I sell products on the Knowasiak Marketplace? 1. Navigate to [Marketplace](https://www.knowasiak.com/explore/marketplace). 2. Click **List a Product**. 3. Fill in the title, description, price, category, and shipping details. 4. Upload up to 10 high-quality product images. 5. Choose **Physical** (shipped) or **Digital** (downloadable) product type. 6. Publish your listing. Your product will appear in the marketplace feed and search results. What categories are available for products? Electronics, Art & Collectibles, Fashion, Books & Media, Home & Garden, Health & Fitness, Services, Software, and more. Categories help buyers find what they're looking for quickly. How do payments and payouts work for sellers? When a buyer purchases your product, the payment goes into your [Knowasiak Wallet](https://www.knowasiak.com/wallet). You can request a withdrawal to your bank account or preferred payout method from the [Wallet](https://www.knowasiak.com/wallet) section. ## Ranks, Leagues & GoodWill What is GoodWill and how do I earn it? **GoodWill** (XP) is a composite score that measures your activity quality and engagement. It determines your rank and league. You earn GoodWill by: * Posting thoughtful, engaging content regularly. * Receiving likes, comments, and reposts on your posts. * Replying to other people's posts meaningfully. * Having your profile followed by active members. * Keeping your content quality high — fewer spammy links, clear formatting. How do leagues and ranks work? As you accumulate GoodWill, you progress through **leagues** and **ranks**: * **Ember League** — New members start here (Ember I → II → III). * **Blaze League** — Active contributors with growing influence. * **Radiance League** — Established community members. * **Aurora League** — Highly respected contributors. * **Vermillion League** — Top-tier members with exceptional reputation. The [Leaderboard](https://www.knowasiak.com/explore/leaderboard) ranks the most active and reputable members on Knowasiak by GoodWill score. It's a great way to discover top contributors and benchmark your own progress. ## Safety & Privacy How do I report a post or user? Click the **three-dot menu (⋯)** on any post or profile and select **Report**. Choose a reason and submit. Our moderation team reviews reports and takes action, usually within 24-48 hours. You can also **mute** or **block** users from the same menu to immediately stop seeing their content. How do I control who can message or follow me? Go to [Settings > Privacy](https://www.knowasiak.com/settings) where you can configure: * **Follow privacy:** Allow everyone, or require follow requests. * **Contact privacy:** Allow messages from everyone, only followers, or nobody. * **Profile privacy:** Control who can see your profile. How do I get verified? Verification gives your profile a blue checkmark badge, signaling authenticity. Apply at [Settings > Verification](https://www.knowasiak.com/settings/verification). Provide the required documentation. Review typically takes **2-5 business days**. How do I delete my account? Go to [Settings](https://www.knowasiak.com/settings) and scroll to **Delete Account**. Multiple ways to monetize your presence: * **Subscriptions:** Set a subscription price on your profile. Followers who subscribe get access to your exclusive paid content. * **Marketplace:** Sell physical or digital products to the community. * **Paid posts:** Create premium content that only paying subscribers can see. All your earnings (subscriptions, sales, donations) go into your [Wallet](https://www.knowasiak.com/wallet). From there, you can: * Check your current balance and transaction history. * Request a withdrawal to your bank account or preferred method. * Send wallet balance to other users. ## Troubleshooting I can't log in — what do I do? 1. I'm not receiving notifications * Check [Settings > Notifications](https://www.knowasiak.com/settings) to make sure the types you want are enabled. * For push notifications, ensure your browser has notification permissions enabled for Knowasiak. * For email notifications, check your spam/junk folder and submit the [contact form](#contact) if messages are still missing.
