For designing a weapon like a stun gun or a high voltage driven object you must be sure that its not a child’s play, However you have listen this warning at many places before but the project which we are creating today is truly lethal and can hurt very deadly if not operated nicely.
Please keep an adult or somebody near you while experimenting this or it can cost even your life.
I have not created this project but instead of that I’ve just created the plans and just showing to you guys so that anyone may find it helpful.
1.Confirm your high voltage damage requirements.
The damage to the human body or the surrounding for which you are going to use this weapon depends upon the power of the weapon.
The voltage and the amperes both are relative to each other for damage results. If you are going to use this for just short sparks and for fun than you should go with 10KV-15KV stun guns and if you want sparks ranging from 2-5cm than you should go with Ebay high voltage modules [20kv-1000kv probably they are not giving the output which they are claiming but then also they are somewhat a kind of useful under some conditions for 5cm sparks at max] and the LAST IN THIS TUTORIAL FOR NOW is the flybacks and the voltage multiplier circuits.
1.PLEASE NOTE: flybacks are a true kind of mind banging power packed in a small package, if they are used correctly with nicely designed circuits and the voltage multiplier circuits than they can give you the world’s most mightiest and longest sparks.
2.PLEASE NOTE: voltage multiplier circuits are made using a series of capacitors of equal power and diodes of equal power arranged in sequenced stages for the required output they can double the voltage or can make it even more higher if more stages are ascended in it.
The voltage multiplier shown above is a 4-stage multiplier. i.e. it makes the input 8x at the output.
2.Choose your Weapon type.
Weapons are of many types that exist in this world, some of them are handheld and some are mountable on tops of roofs of vehicles or any other place.
The place of the weapon where it being going to kept depends mainly upon how heavy and powerful THE WEAPON IS and how much time it takes to attack or how much it vibrates or gives the energy back to the holder.
If it is handheld as my plans than it’s great to have a medium spark gap ranging from 3cm-7cm as per your requirements.
If you are going to build it for a tabletop or demonstration in a lab or outdoor mounting than 12cm-3 foot discharges might be enough for you. Please note: 8CM discharges and above level discharges are extremely lethal for normal use this is only intended for educational purposes don’t make it or read this article if you are under 18 or not having a electrical background or electronics and high voltage knowledge.
3.GET YOUR HANDS ON BUILDING THIS! [CAUTION: EXTREMELY HIGH VOLTAGE IF IT IS BEYOND 2 cm SPARKS]
First of all, collect your power source from which you are going to power your own made beast up. for different ciircuits and for different purposes the power sources and their form will be different for If you are using an ebay high voltage module than it is likely to use a 3.7v-12v DC power supply and if it is flyback transformer circuit than you can buy online a FLYBACK DRIVER ZVS circuit online for that you will need a 12v-36v power supply at high amperes in order to get higher outputs.
and remember the output of the high voltages from those modules on ebay and all those gives a pulsed output.
flybacks are generally the father of all high voltage booster modules in terms of lethal voltages from a small source. And flybacks AC output at higher voltages so you can also connect a voltage multiplier circuit there for increasing the output of those higher voltage flybacks to tens of millions of volts in just second and by this you can also create a power supply for a tesla coil.
flybacks output can be connected to the input of the voltage multiplier circuit but you have to make sure first check the output of the flyback and check whether the capacitors and diodes you are using can take and can handle that much input. i.e. suppose your flyback is producing 20kv at the output than make sure your capacitors must be 45kv and higher if it is 2 stage voltage multiplier and if it is 3 stage than each capacitor and diode must be rated at 65kv and higher. The higher the levels or stages the greater the value of the capacitors should be in order to handle the feedback and discharges.the stages mean that if 2 stages are there than [input voltage*2.25] should be the capacity of the capacitors and diodes as well.
1.Don’t run the flyback on its maximum voltage for a long time or it will be a last run for that or the long maximum voltage run can shorten its lifespan.
2.Never try to touch any part of the circuitry while the flyback circuitry is running or it can be your last moment on earth.
3.always wear safety accessories and mask and gloves while operating any high voltage driven object.
4.Always insulate yourself while touching any part of the circuitry or troubleshoot it by using and holding wood in your hands.
5.Make sure before turning on the circuitry and connecting the power source that your discharge poles or the output of high voltage is not connected to each other or they are not touching each other in any way.
